What’s a Gaynor Girl? 

Gaynor Girls are students and young professionals, aged 14 and up, who choose to train and perform exclusively in Gaynor Minden pointe shoes. They have an active presence on Instagram, and are as enthusiastic about all things Gaynor Minden as we are! While you can only be an official Gaynor Girl for one year, Gaynor Girls may return as Gaynor Minden Artists later in their careers. Any student, apprentice, trainee, second company member, or first or second year corps de ballet member, 14 or older, who wears Gaynor Minden pointe shoes exclusively, can apply to be a Gaynor Girl.

We look for a diverse group of dancers from around the globe. When we select our final group we look not only for talent, but also geographical location, age, and company/school.

Here’s How To Apply!

Complete the following steps no later than Monday, July 11, 2022:

1) Create a “Why I want to be a Gaynor Girl” video and post it to Instagram

• Tag #gaynorgirlsearch2022, #gaynorgirls, #gaynorminden, and @gaynorminden in your post.
• Make sure your account is public so we can watch your video.
• Follow us (@gaynorminden) on Instagram!

2) Complete the Gaynor Girl Application Form

We will notify you in late July if you have been selected to continue to Round Two!

 

ROUND TWO

Think of this round as an audition, in which you post to Instagram as if you are an official Gaynor Girl!
We want to see that you are passionate about Gaynor Minden, and that you’re not afraid to tell the world!

 

 

The 2022/23 Gaynor Girls will be announced September 1.

We can’t wait to meet you!
